Wedstock
The wedding that defined a generation
Our ceremonial hitching will take place Labor Day weekend, 2007, in Becket, Massachusetts, in the heart of the Berskshire mountains.
Schedule
We’ll begin on Friday night with a cookout and campfire at 6:30.
On Saturday we’ll have brunch and all manner of activities during the day. Then we’ll gather at 5:00 for dinner, followed by our ceremonial hitching. After that: treats, music, and dance. Dessert will be a pie-off. Please bring a pie if you can. (There will be a non-pie competition if you’re anti-pie.)
On Sunday, we’ll serve brunch at 11, and if you can take advantage of the long weekend, please stay and enjoy the camp all day.
Activities
We've got the camp for the weekend, which means we can swim, sail, canoe, kayak, hike, pick blueberries, play kickball, do arts-and-crafts, ostracize the weird kid, and do anything else one does at camp. We'll add in Yoga, Shabbat prayers, and other things we haven't thought of yet. Got any ideas? Email us. We'll distribute the full schedule at the start of the weekend.
Where to stay
You can stay on-site in a cabin or tent or choose more conventional digs nearby (see the lodging page). Staying at camp for the weekend costs $50 per adult. If you choose this option, you can pay us when you arrive.
